“All I need to know” Free write friday!

Hey guys look at me being all on time with FWF! It’s like a miracle eh? Anyways, as usual the lovely Kellie Elmore gave us an awesome prompt to utilize this image for our writing. Make sure you guys go check out the other awesome entries πŸ™‚

All I need to know

They say life is funny,
I say life is a lot of things.
It is tumultuous
And challenging.
Sometimes it is beautiful
Other times wretched.

Life is meaningful and meaningless
at the same time
because the people in it
are meaningful and meaningless
at the same time.

You can call me John Doe.
I don’t have any ties to another name
that matter.
I am the perfect example of
the human condition
You can call my life’s status research.

I watch you, the ones that pass me by
with or without a glance
and I wonder if you are aware of my
presence as I am of yours

And I watch you live your lives
with no regards to others around you,
I do not judge you, nor do I envy you
the disconnect we share
tells me all I need to know…

Thanks so much for reading guys! I hope you let me know what you think in the comments below πŸ™‚ Make sure you follow Kellie on twitter @Kellie_elmore and me as well @talichaj if you haven’t already! See you next time!!!

    And challenging.

    Other times wretched.

    Life is meaningful and meaningless
    at the same time

    and
    the disconnect we share

    A great free write poem!

  2. The disconnect we share tell me all I need to know… Perfect!
There are so many people we meet in our lives… they have their own stories. It tell us of the immensity of this world.

  3. John is becoming more and more vivid to me. A fabulous read. “Life is meaningful and meaningless…” I can relate to that. Very Buddhist, if you don’t mind me saying so.
